Sabancı University Strengthens Strategic Collaborations in the Semiconductor Ecosystem

Sabancı University, which places strong emphasis on education programs aimed at strengthening Türkiye’s position in the semiconductor sector, continues to deepen its collaborations with leading industry players. In this context, Ali Baran, Co-Founder and CEO of YongaTek—one of the key stakeholders in the semiconductor ecosystem—visited Sabancı University.

Speaking during the visit, Sabancı University Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Leblebici emphasized that the semiconductor sector will position Türkiye strategically within the international value chain, stating: “We are positioning Sabancı University as a strategic value partner that delivers solutions in this field. We are ready to provide comprehensive support to industry companies, starting with education and infrastructure services.”

Ali Baran, CEO of YongaTek, who has led significant projects in microchip design both domestically and internationally, highlighted the strong demand for a skilled and well-trained workforce in the sector and expressed his very positive view toward close collaboration with Sabancı University.
